"We met David after an initial outreach to Red Oak while we were interviewing agents. After our first introduction, we immediately knew that we wanted to work with him. His honesty about what needed to be done to our house for it to sell and his design vision stood out from the rest of the agents we talked with. Also, with us moving 3k miles away, we wanted someone we felt like we could trust with the project. So, David was out guy! Immediately after signing the agreement, David was ready to get to work. He surveyed the house to put together a budget for the renovations and bought in a team to help explain what would be done. He was extremely thorough in his thought process while allowing us to make the final decisions on what would or would not be done. The crew did such an amazing job to get the house show/sell ready. It was hard to believe it was the home we'd loved in for the last few years. We were blown away by each update made and the attention to detail he brought to every step of the project. When the time came to list, we were excited because we felt we put our best foot forward. Unfortunately, the market took a turn for the worse for sellers as rates shot to the upside and significant questions were being raised about the economy, markets, etc. Buyers started to get cold feer and offers throughout Oakland started to freeze up. Nevertheless, David was there to guide us through the open houses, offer process, negotiation and closing. He always informed us of developments, kept a close eye on our home and got us an offer we were happy with. Without David, we're certain that our house would have sold for significantly less or potentially not at all.
